Red and White Game

Amy went to her very first NC State football game today! It was the red/white game but I was surprised at how many people come out for that. This is also the very first time she got slathered with sunscreen...  she did not like that.  Otherwise, Amy was very good despite being tired and hot.

This is right before going into the game with Amy in the Baby Bjorn carrier.
Sitting with mom in the sun.  Note how the hat does not match the dress but at least it's NC State red and white.
Aunt Stef and Uncle Brian.   She looks so comfortable.
Snoozing in aunt Stef's lap.
Getting ready to leave.  Back in the baby bjorn!  We had to take a picture because this is the only time she was without her dummy (pacifier).

Some pictures from March

I apologize for these photos being uploaded late, but I found them on our camera today.  These were all taken in March so Miss Amy was about 3 1/2 months old in them.  She has grown quite a bit since these were taken.

Cuddling with mom on the couch.
Hanging out with dad in her jammies.
Somehow this was comfortable for her...  Bobby doesn't look quite as comfy.
Amy really loves her blankie...

A new house

Since I will be doing my residency in Chapel Hill, we have decided to move a little closer to the hospital. I was not particularly thrilled about living in Raleigh and commuting to Chapel Hill for 4 more years. We found a house in southwest Durham which will make both our commutes much shorter. It should be built by mid-June.

Thus, our lives have been rather hectic recently with looking for a new house, trying to get our house ready to put on the market and I've just started a really busy rotation. On the bright side, there's only 3 more weeks of medical school left.

Here are a few pictures of Amy taken this week...  She turned 4 months old a week ago.  She has been sick with an ear infection though, but was doing remarkably well considering she felt bad.  She is now on antibiotics and seems to be feeling better.  No more fevers at least.  She now weighs 10lb 13oz (4.9kg) and is 22.5 inches long.

Looking cute on mom's birthday!
Her hand is her new favorite thing to "eat".  Sometimes she tries to get both hands in her mouth at the same time, which obviously never works.
Concentrating very hard...
